Sani-Pane
Interior use only
The Kyler Industries’ Sani-Pane blind system features a sealed double glazed glass unit with a integral Venetian blind mounted in an aluminum sub frame. Each unit comes fully assembled and ready to install. The labor required to install a Sani-Pane unit is the same as installing a typical insulated glass unit. No additional labor is required to mount controls, adjust units, etc.

Operation
The Sani-Pane blind system offers various tilt control options for the internal Venetian blind. These standard options include:
- Knob Operator
- Low Profile ADA Compliant Thumb Wheel Operator
- Tilt Only
All operator types are available in Single Tilt Control (tilt operation from one side) or Dual Tilt Control (tilt operation from both sides).
Other Unique Features to the Sani-Pane blind system:
Versatile tilt control placement
Regardless of single control or dual control operation, the Sani-Pane blind system affords the tilt controls to be positioned at virtually any specified location on the vertical side of the Sani-Pane unit. This is especially useful when considering ADA code requirements.
Optional tilt controls as well as custom tilt controls are also available.

180 degree range of motion with integrated tilt limiter
Each Sani-Pane unit allows the internal blind to be tilted a full 180 degrees. Also incorporated into the Sani-Pane unit is a tilt limiter function which prevents damage to the internal blind due to the over rotation of the Venetian blind.
Components
All Sani-Pane blind systems feature the following:
- A typical air space of .812” (13/16”)
- The standard perimeter air spacer is clear anodized aluminum.
- All internal aluminum blind components are color matched.
- All internal plastic components are comprised of high temperature, UV stable material.
- All tape ladders are thermally fixed polyester and UV resistant.

The perimeter Sub-frame of the Sani-Pane unit features the following:
Extruded aluminum perimeter framing
is standard on all Sani-Pane units. Each corner is mitered (45 degree) and mechanically fastened with concealed fasteners.
Standard finish options include:
Factory painted colors available in white, almond and tan as well as factory anodized finishes available in clear and dark bronze. See above.
Optional Custom Finishes Include:
- Anodized (any color)
- Factory painted by Kyler (any color)
- Profile wrapped solid wood veneer (virtually any wood species) by Kyler. All wood profile wrapped applications are available unfinished (for field finishing) or factory finished (any color) with stain and 2 coats of sealer. All factory finishing performed by Kyler.
Boot glazing
Each insulated glass unit is factory glazed into the perimeter aluminum frame with a black or gray vinyl boot glazing.

Sani-Pane units can be fabricated to the following minimum/maximum sizes:

Minimum width: 9-1/8 inches
Maximum width: 63 inches
Minimum height: 14 inches
Maximum height: 104 inches
Glass Options
Sani-Pane units come standard with fully tempered inboard and outboard glass. Standard glass thickness is 5/32”. Custom glass thicknesses can range from 1/8” to 7/16” thick. The standard internal airspace is 13/16” thick.
